The Tower of London’s head executioner only has one job, yet it can go horribly wrong for all involved. Right now he’s furious: there’s been a botched execution on his watch, and the reign of Henry VIII is making him see red. Outside the Tower, nationwide rebellion reflects his views. But what does he know? He’s only an executioner.
