Episode 5 - Trial By Fire
Anne Askew was a woman who had been wronged by life, married to a
man she didn’t like and hunted for reading the bible in English.
She came to London to get a divorce, instead she
was tortured for nearly two years in the Tower of London, before
being burnt at the stake as a heretic.
